Random Facts about climate change in Dublin

Since 2000 sea levels in Dublin Bay have risen by 120mm which is 7mm per annum. Dublin City council are working off of the assumption that sea levels are going to rise by 500mm over the next 50 years.





Erosion is a huge problem in places such as Portrane as one local resident discovered all too late.


The green party are a current government party that promote sustainability and try and create sustainable policies and planning.

 

Currently these are all the projects that Dublin city Council have set up to try and prevent the effects of climate change.
